Statements API Overview

The Statements API provides secure, programmatic access to end‑customer statements, disclosures, and related statement data. Designed for institutions participating in R&T programs (DDM and CDMX), this API enables Source institutions to retrieve customer statement information on demand for downstream processing, analysis, or integration into digital banking platforms. By centralizing and simplifying access to statement resources, the API helps institutions deliver a more seamless and modern digital experience for their customers.

In its initial release, the API focuses on delivering customer statements, with planned support for additional statement types such as annual 1099‑INT tax reporting document and other formats planned for future iterations. The API is engineered to support both:

  • Non‑formatted data outputs (JSON or XML), enabling institutions to construct their own presentation layers.

  • Fully formatted, ready‑to‑deliver statements in PDF format, including all required disclosures and optimized for immediate use.

Intended Use & Program Eligibility

The Statements API is intended exclusively for institutions participating R&T programs (DDM and CDMX) that are enrolled and billed for statement delivery services. Access to this API is limited to Source Institutions whose programs pay to receive customer statements, and usage is subject to applicable R&T program terms and statement pricing agreements.

Key Features

The Statements API offers robust functionality to meet institutions’ operational and digital servicing needs. It enables retrieval of 13 months of DDM and CDMX monthly statements and disclosures, ensuring convenient access to historical data often needed for customer servicing.

Statement data is available in JSON, XML, and PDF formats, supporting flexibility across integration, reporting, and customer-facing use cases.

Future enhancements will expand access to two years of annual tax reporting (1099‑INT), further increasing coverage and value.
